SUMMER Programs

Summer Day Camp
Summer Day Camp is the highlight of the education calendar at Wolfe's Neck Farm. Our Summer Day Camp programs provide hands-on, educational activities focusing on the elements of the Foundation's mission; agriculture, the natural environment, and healthy living. Campers interact with farm animals, grow vegetables in our gardens, explore the shores of Casco Bay, and discover forest habitats. Agricultural and ecological themes are also explored through music, theater, and arts & crafts. Weekly sessions are offered for four age-specific groups. There are limited slots available, so parents are encouraged to apply early.

  • Peapods, 4 & 5 year olds
  • Seedlings, Entering Grades K-2
  • Farm Kids, Entering Grades 3-5
  • Farmward Bound, Entering Grades 6-9

Junior Counselor Program We also have a Junior Counselor (JC) program for 13 to 16 year olds. Our JC's attend camp for free in exchange for working with our Farm Counselor staff, who will provide supportive coaching to teach and mentor the JC's. It is a great opportunity to for teens to build work skills and develop more adult responsibility. We ask for a minimum two week commitment plus coming in for a day of training. Ask for a JC application if interested, or find it posted online.

Each year we have a few full and partial camper scholarships available for families limited financial means, please ask for an application if required.
