Come Celebrate Spring on the Farm!

This year’s Spring Festival will continue the tradition of great fun and learning for the whole family right here at the Farm. Music, games, demonstrations and learning activities make the Spring Festival unique with its country setting.  There will be opportunities to explore the trails and gardens, interact with the animals, learn about seeds and plants, and try your hand at fiber arts.  Come watch for newborn lambs and get up close to a Belted Galloway cow.  For younger children, there will be craft activities, face painting, a hay pile and tractors to climb, as well as hayrides and live music by Roger Tinknell and Matt Loosigian.  We will also have lunch available.  

Activities:  Nature Collages, Seed Planting, Scavenger Hunt, Haybale Climbing & More!

Demonstrations:  Sheep Shearing, Wool Spinning, Outdoor Composting with Shift of Maine, Vermicomposting, Beekeeping with Gold Star Honeybees & more!

Volunteering: Many hands are needed to create this wonderful event, and we are offering a free family admission in exchange for two-hour volunteer shifts. If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out our Volunteer Interest Form by clicking here. We look forward to seeing you at the Farm!

Admission: $5/person or $20/family; There is a 50% discount for members!

Plant Sale: We will also be holding our Annual Plant Sale the same day, from 9am-1pm (no charge for admission to the plant sale).  We are still looking for donations of perennials, annuals and seedlings, so if you have any extras, please let us know!
